Should my KZ250 single , 1980 model, have a cv carb or the slide type that is fitted ? it looks like a z200 carb

OK, looks like it has had a carb change, at least they look easy to work on, I don`t like cv`s..

I bought another 250ltd and it also has a PW26 carb, seems they were standard fitment on most early uk spec models....

Hello spooky
you are correct in that some of the early Z250 had the PW26 carburetors.
The 1980 Z250-C1 and the Z250-G1 had the PW26 type of carburetor (these motorcycles had spoke cast wheels) the 1980 Z250-D1 had a CV32 type carburetor. (these motorcycles had wire spoke wheels) The 1981 models Z250-C2 and Z250-D2 and Z250-G2 all come with the CV32 type of carburetors.
