Overflows leaking after jet change

Ok guys have a question I havent been able to find an answer for... I just changed my main jets in my 81 650 and once I got her started back up my overflows canstantly have a stead stream. I've checked the petcock, float levels, overflow tubes, vacuum leaks, float needles, and everything looks good. The only thing different I can think of is that my pilots are still a size too small (had the wrong ones ordered so had to reorder). I've triple checked everything and I had no issues before changing the mains, anyone have any idea what could be the issue or know something that I might have missed?

Sometimes a float will stick on the side of the bowl when re-assembled. This could be the cause of your problem.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Like HardRockMiner mentioned. You can try tapping on the bowl of the offending carb. Shake the bike right to left... if that doesn’t help your only option is to pull the bowl and find out what happened. Could be a piece of shumoots in the float seat. A Qtip works good to reach up in there and wipe it out. While you have it out look at the float needle for wear.

Did you replace the float bowl gaskets? Sometimes the gasket material can be touching the float and this will cause the overflow condition mentioned.

I just noticed that, while cleaning my 81 kz650's carbs yesterday the float would randomly get stuck

Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure it's a stuck float or something in the seat, I'm out of town now but I'll tear into it when I'm back home and see what I can find
