Hi,

I'm having trouble identifying these carbs. They're on a 1979 KZ650SR/D2 I purchased recently.

However all the identifying pictures I find online have "ribbed" surfaces on the actual body of the carb.

While on mine the bodies of the carbs are smooth. Any guesses or info on how to actually identify these?

If they look similar to the 24's maybe they swapped in VM26SS. Post pictures please.

Pictures of your carbs may help us to ID the carbs. There should also be an ID stamped on the flange below the choke lever or on the outside of carb number 4. (Carbs are numbered from 1 to 4 left to right as you sit on the bike. ) If you would post the ID stamped on the carbs it might help us to provide what the carbs are.
