I was soaking my kzs carbs in carb cleaner and when I pulled em out I found a little bb or like a ball bearing. I have no idea where it goes, does anyone know?

It’s a check ball. A small brass cylinder sits on top of it and held in place with a small clip. It goes in the fuel bowl at the front (filter side) See photo of parts

so I found where this goes, it is part of the choke assembly. but I've run into another problem after I've finished with the carbs. when I bought this bike, it had none of the vent hoses on the carbs connected to anything so does anyone know where they route to? it has a little T vent coming from the air switch (? is this what its called) running back to the carbs. I guess what I want to know is where these vent hoses should go to. I can send a picture of the carbs if I need to
