Z1R D3 Petcock was created by 1980 Z1R D3
Hi guys,
I was looking to see if anyone knows of a good place to buy a petcock for a D3 Z1R because after buying a supposed OEM one on eBay, it not only was not OEM, but also broken, as the fuel doesn't shut off after we turn it to the "OFF" position. We've tried to fix it several times with no success, so its time for a new one.
Thanks

I think it's the same as a D-1, I've been watching for 20 years and all I've found are the "Pingel" petcocks. They don't look stock but I've heard they are the best option. I've never tried one, just put up with my stock "weeper".
You might try on the Z1R owners Facebook page, some of the members have a bunch of parts squirreled away.

Appears that your petcock bung uses the 22mm jamb nut so if your not needing to be factory original then the single outlet Pingle would be a good replacement... I have one on my ‘78 1000 LTD and really like it....
