Pingel Fuel Valve Adaptor for Gas Tank??

Has anyone used and put on an adaptor for a duel line Pingel Hi Flow Tap? I never put one on a stock metal gas tank. I don't see just a few threads tapped into stock tank? No I did not search around yet. I have a big KZ1000 tank I am selling. It has one on it. I need a new one for an LTD smaller tank. Just checking. TIA

I don't believe that you would need the adaptor plate for a KZ or LTD tank, only the adaptor nut, that should come with the valve from Pingel. I have a 77-Kz-1000A with a Older Pingel dual outlet no reserve valve, and adapter nut installed.

My 78 LTD has a single outlet Pingel and It doesnt use a plate

The small ltd tank you could have clearance problems ,what carbs are you using? Ive used pingle on my bike over 35 years

I was thinking without looking at it. It is the bigger tank on it. It has the flat plate screwed flat to the tank. I am seeling tank and body parts. The I am using the smaller LTD tank. Which only needs the round adaptor. I forgot about position of bung opening?
The engine has 38mm Lectrons on it. I can see better from the pictures I took when I picked it up.
I still have options. I'll most likely switch out engine, Keep the big engine and put 1075 on this one. It's only a beater bike for the 1/8 mile local dragstrip .
