Air filter intake boot
08 May 2020 07:38
Hello,
I made a rookie mistake and did not take pictures of the boots that go from the air box to the carb. I am not sure of the orientation of how they connect from the air box to the carb. My bike is a 1983 KZ750f1 shaft. I have looked through my service manual but do not see any specifics on this.
Thank you!

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAll 4 ducts are the same. 2 on the RH side should be oriented outwards to the right & 2 on the LH side outwards to the left. It's kind of hard to mess up. Align a notch on each duct with the little nubs on the face of the airbox. I'm assuming your airbox has the nubs.
If your ducts are hard, get new ones. Z1Enterprises.com has them.
EB pics to show the notches.

Awesome! Thank you! I did order some new ones from Z1. I didn't realize how bad mine was until I got my new ones. I will be putting the carb back on and trying to adjust the throttle cable and idle. THen the homemade sync? this is the last step till it is back on the road!
