Stock air box modification
28 Apr 2020 19:29
I pulled this statement from Zed1015’s post on the air corrector jets. Has any one else done this and how well has it worked. Sounds like a solid idea. Aslo a big dollar savings over finding a silencer.
“The factory airbox has been modified as per suggestion by the (late) Larry Cavanaugh. Wire mesh screens removed from inside of box, No Air cleaner inside of box with K&N RC-2600 clamp on filter in place of Factory airbox silencer.”

I sourced this air box "mod" from a post on the KZRider website. Topic was: KZ1000LTD "NIGHT MARE". Larry Cavanaugh posted this comment on June 14, 2011 @23:20..
