Hi all,
I just got a 82 KZ750 (chain drive) which has pods and only starts with some throttle. I need to stay on the throttle for it to keep running otherwise it just dies. I went to adjust the idle but the screw is very damaged and I ordered a new kit from eBay.
How do I identify my specific model? Any suggestions for my issue? Could it be more then just turning the screw a few times to get the adjustment right?
Also my front is very light, if I even grab the handles it sinks down and the suspension feels very soft. Could that just be a fluid change? I noticed some caps like the kind that cover tire pressure on cars, what are those for?
New to bikes and all this so any help is super appreciated. Thank you.

I'd do a full carb rebuild and install a Dynojet jet (or get n airbox.)
The forks either need stiffer springs or you should keep air in them.
