fuel sender leak was created by Ant_5445
Hello everyone. 81 gpz 550, i seem to be having a leak underneath the tank at the fuel sender. However, its not coming from the edges but instead where the two wires meet. Whats the best way/ product to seal it? Thank you.

Seal-All & Permatex Liquid Metal. Some guys here on KZR have used Seal-All which seems readily available at various places, including the hardware store. Mine was leaking around the red plastic square that's riveted in place, so I used Permatex liquid metal. The repair was done more than 5 yrs ago & it's still intact. Liquid metal comes in a tube. There's no mixing per se, but the first dollop will have some excess solvent. I've used the permatex stuff for various other non-standard repairs. It dries like a plastic but doesn't become brittle or crumble.
