Been having trouble mounting a set of Mikuni RS36-D3 K on my 1983 GPZ-1100.
I measured the spacing of the intake manifolds on my GPZ and got 75-96-75.
The spacing on the Mikuni's are 77-93-77.
Has anyone got a fix so the carbs will fit better?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Looks like the carb spacing should be 73-93-73

The spacing is 77-93-77 and you have to use intake rubber boot with 42 mm ID to fit the RS36-D3-K carb set.

Yes the spacing on the Mikuni carbs are 77-93-77 but the intake spacing on the head is 75-96-75.

Did you do double check the spacing on your injector throttle body?
Give me some time to do some meassurments tomorrow on my spare GPZ1100 UT head and throttle body for the spacing values.

I don't have the time to go checking my notes and parts books.
But I believe you need to use 16065-1135 intake ducts on the Zx1100 head to mount up the RS36 Flatslides.

I believe I have the right intake ducts I will have to check them.
But even with the right intake ducts the spacing I measured shows the carbs still don't match up by 2 to 3 mm.
Is that ok to have them off by that amount?

I checked my intake ducts and they are 40mm.
Will look into changing them out with 42mm ones.
Still worried about the carb spacing not being the same as the head.
