On further reflection I don't think those are Suzuki carbs. The GS carbs have the throttle stop adjustment on the bottom. Here is a photo of a set that I restored a while back.

BTW, on the GS carbs the pilot fuel screw sits inside the carb body recess. The KZ VM's use an extended section so to speak on the pilot screw so a plastic limiter stop can be installed.

After rereading your fist post you did find the following ID 450 and 90. To the best of my knowledge this ID would indicate they came stock on a Suzuki. Will have both air and pilot screw.
