TK 22 Float Gauge

Does anyone know where to find a float gauge to fit the drain on TK 22 carbs? I've checked Partzilla and Z1E. Neither of them sells it.

The carbs are on a 1981 KZ550 LTD. My Z1B float gauge screw in thingy is too small. I think the TK's have an M8 x 1.0 or 1.25 thread.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Google m8 hosetail. You can get one in either pitch for a few dollars from any hardware shop. Just add some clear tube.

Z1000J2 somewhat modified!

I think all you need is a short pice of vacuum hose that fits the drain nipple tightly fitted into a lager clear hose. Take a look here

Thanks for that link TexasKZ. I can rough set them with that measurement if they are wildly out of whack.

Yes, when working properly, the drain screw is also used as a valve to let out gas for setting fuel level, so you all you need is a bit of small hose jammed into a larger hose for viewing. Make sure to let enough flow to get the air bubbles out.

I spent a bit of time with the carbs today. One float was about 3 mm too high, which probably explains the weeping bowl seal. The others were fine. I still have to set them with the drain hose. I need some larger clear hose first, as I only have 1/8 inch in clear and I fear it will be difficult to set with a hose that small.
