Hey guys, quick question about the carb bowls in my 78 kz650b

I removed the accelerator pump and now carb 2 is leaking. Can I replace that bowl with another plain bowl without the accelerator pump?

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago where installing a regular float bowl was the recommendation to the guy that was ditching his accel pump system
