I should also mention, the airbox boots won't be the right size. If you go with the older carbs, they do really well with pods (but don't say that out loud :) ). The older air box boots won't mate up to your newer airbox. So you will have to modify/fabricate something to use the airbox with the older carbs as well.

Thats a good point, I do believe the older air box will fit in the frame as well. I'll either do some plastic welding or just spring for the extra money and get another air box. I'm expecting to get caught in the rain at some point with this thing so I'll want to avoid pods.

I have been caught in some really heavy rain and never had a problem with individual (pod) filters.

Any suggestions on what jets and pod setups to use? In case I decide to go that route.

Initially, you should try stock jets and simply shim the needle on the Tk22 carbs. Here is a link on how to shim them properly.

The shims are 1/4" washers with 1/8" holes. You can get them at hardware stores.

You might have to adjust the air screw.
