Flooded Out....
13 Oct 2019 19:19
Finally planed to start up my project bike today. (storage unit revival). Carbs were completely dry after being worked on and installed. As soon as I turned the petcock from off to on ,
(Pingel dual outlet), the carbs flooded from left to right, fuel everywhere.. Carbs are a rack of old school VM 33mm smooth bore's. I think that maybe the float bowl gaskets were never replaced and or installed. ? Any help, Thank you....

The float valves are probably stuck open. You can tap on the carbs with a plastic mallet and it can knock them loose, but cleaning will probably be necessary.

I taped and taped , still flooded with petcock on. The carb rack has two inlet fuel lines, does it matter which carb line connects to either dual petcock outlet line ?
