What could be causing my throttle to stick intermittently. The cable routing seems fine. It does it when I’m going straight,I don’t notice till I try to stop at lights or slow down for roundabouts :woohoo:
When it happens I shut the bike off and restart it and all is fine again till next time.

If it's a matter of the idle hanging and not dropping down that's likely caused by an air leak on the carb or airbox boots. Basically, a lean condition.

Also check the mechanical advancer if it's sticking it will do that.

Had the same thing happen to me maybe 5 years ago. Finally found that 1 of the factory screws ( which had yellow Locktite on it) had backed off from the horizontal arm ( which has a groove it’s entire length) which connects all 4 carbs together. It allowed one carb to lag behind, so the return to idle was slow. Didn’t notice it on acceleration, that I remember.
Good luck
Joe
