Hello.
I am refurbishing a set of mikuni's 106 9A of a kz 650 1980 f1.
Would anyone here have an exploded drawing, or a link to a website with similar drawings?
Any help appreciated
Thanks .

Partzilla also has diagrams & they're easier to use than most places.
Your carburetors are should be VM24s w accelerator pump. The carb nos. you posted aren't really useful.
Z1Enterprises.com should have gaskets. be sure to compare yours as there are 2 or 3 different float bowl gaskets for VM24 carbs. I believe Z1Ent has 2 different styles of starter plunger caps, so get whichever ones look like yours. A metric nitrile o-ring kit will have some of the needed sizes. My HF kit didn't have the starter plunger o-rings, but Z1Ent may have them.

Thanks very much.
I dont think my carbs are original as they are not pumpers.
I'll look up partszilla.

This may help...members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff/i.../vm_carb_rebuild.pdf

cycleorings.com has a nice kit. Better than most conventional carb kits that come with aftermarket brass parts (which you shouldn't need).

The link provided shows vm26 carbs and you do have vm24 carbs . They are very much the same but just keep this fact in mind. As some of the info and parts show in the link will not be the same in your carbs.

The carb # you indicated are to the best of my knowledge stock carbs on KZ650 F1s sold in non US market locations. In the US they do have the accelerator pump.

loudhvx has a motorcycle stuff page with extensive information about the KZ550 & TK22 carburetors.
See links in his signature or link below. The Z500 is probably similar to the 550. The 550 TK22 jetting might be too rich for the 500.

The original Z500's came with Tk22 carbs, so they should go right on.
