Ok so I’ve been working on it and found the problem. First it wasn’t a fuel issue, it was the left coil dropping out cutting spark to the #2 and #3 cylinders . After going thru all the ignition wiring and checking ohms/ volts I found the yellow wire for the pickup coil pushed slightly out of the molex connector. Standing the bike up was enough to break the connection. Crazy huh?
Anyhow the jetting is on the lean side at the moment. Back to tuning carbs. Thanks everybody, I’ll post some pics, it’s a really cool looking bike and I’m looking forward to putting some miles on before the snow flies.

Reading thru the thread Mr old kaw was right. But I cleaned up all the greasy smashed and hacked electrical. I guess I caused the problem when I plugged the pickup coils back into the igniter. (Shrugs shoulders). Live and learn.

That would be some pretty loose wiring connections if it moved when you stood the bike up. Normally that connection would be clean and secured to the frame, but once again, that would be on a properly operating system. Clean and secure connections matter!
