Air filter

Hello
Rebuilding a 440 ltd
Mine does not have an air filter and air box has maybe seen better days.
If I change to a couple of aftermarket cone filters or other kind will I have to change any of the carb settings

My knowledge is probably just enough to be dangerous

Howdy. The KZ440 has CV carburetors which can be difficult to tune for individual pod filters & you'll probably need to rejet. Nebr_Rex seems to know quite a bit about the 440, so if you do some searches, your ears should perk up when you see any of his replies, especially in regards to the carburetors & pod filters.

A few people have made their own air box
Google "custom air box for KZ440 kzrider"
That should get you a good start.
