Hmm I didn't realize rust was that small, but that's very useful info! It probably just looks bigger than it actually is because it all clumps together in the floatbowls.


That is a pretty nice filter BUT> it costs over 50 bucks on fleabay. I'll stick with my $5.00 filter and a totally clean fuel / tank.

I've had issues with cheap plastic filters. The pics below were after a few months of use.
I only use Visu filters and inspect them often or the Golan per Ed's advice.

WOW, there are cheap knockoff's , then there are extra, EXTRA CHEAP knockoff's. Notice the filter element is not sintered bronze, but instead screen. I wouldn't put THAT filter on a lawnmower.
Everyone please be aware of what you are purchasing.

Yep. Lesson learned. Like I said, only genuine Visu filters or Golan since.
