thread pitch for cv34 main jet

Hey folks. I've got a set of CV32's off my '82 kz440 ltd with mangled threads where the main jet and nozzle are housed. I want to clean it up and salvage it if I can. I think I judged the tap size needed m8 x .75. Can anyone confirm this before I go and purchase this tap? Seems pretty rare.

edit: maybe m7 x .75 ??

Thanks for responding but I don't have Mikuni's (yet). I have the original Keihin cv32's. If repairing/replacing these carbs comes to bare, I'll probably spring for the Mikuni's. Maybe just ONE Mikuni and do a conversion.

Thank you again, truly. The m4.3 isn't adding up tho I know because I have a m6 x 1.0 taper that is too small.
