Colourtune for low revs and check plug colours after a decent run using the full rev range.

When you say low rev, are we talking about idle / 1000 rpm?

Low revs, anything under 3k rpm whilst still on pilot jet range.

Thank you
Verify correct jets, then its better to take a look at the plugs instead using colortune?

Using a colourtune you will be able to see if you have the correct pilot jets in your carbs. If they are correct you should be able to turn the mixture screw to achieve full orange (rich) right through to full blue (lean). I always set my mixture screws to full blue then slowly screw in until I get the very slightest tinge of orange. Then your mixture is corect for zero to 3kish revs.
Once your over 3k ish revs you start moving from pilots to mains and at about 6kish needle jets come into play. However they do all have an amount of overlap with each other.
Therefore, once the pilot mixture is correct a decent ride using all the rev range then checking the plug colour for the main and needle tells you how the main and needle jets are performing.

An rpm gauge is gonna be cheaper and more useful than a colortune- Here's an excellent explanation on jetting and tuning the mixture screws.
Enjoy

It`s not easy to tune the pilot on RPM, I have tried and I`m able to find the spot where the cylinder die/got problems, but not the "other" side where you have max RPM...
running or dying is what I find.... There will I test the colourtune,..

Great information in that link. Thanks for that!
