34mm Mikuni RS on Built Gpz750

I have an 1985 Gpz750 that has a built motor. Wiseco 810 cc Big Bore kit, Megacycle Stage I cams, Kerker 4-1 Exhaust, Accel ignition coils, along with a set of Mikuni RS34's.
I've read other articles that suggest the 34 Mikuni's are too much for a stock 738cc motor. However, I'm wondering if anyone has done a similar setup with a Gpz-based 750 motor. The Gpz 750 motor differs from the KZ in a few significant ways, like higher compression ratio, hotter cams (factory), and ported intake on the head.
I was thinking that with the stepped up GPz motor, has anyone done a similar build? and what kind of results?
thx.

Carbs are to big. I have a KZ650 with the 810 kit, bigger cams, ported head 4-1 pipe and run the stock VM24's. Over the years I've tried the VM29, RS34's, BS34's. I finally wised up and went back to the VM24's, tuned them to my engine and haven't touched them in years. Bike runs fantastic. Bigger carbs does not ecuate into power.

Forgot to mention.. My '85 GPz 750 originally came with 34mm CV carburetors. Just a little larger than your 26's... However, the bike ran excellent with the 34 CV's.
I've had problems sourcing replacement parts for these carbs, which is why I bought the new RS34's. The bike starts, runs, and idles okay. I haven't had a chance to test it at freeway speeds yet. One thing I dislike about ALL Mikuni RS carburetors, is the infamous 'Slide Rattle' you hear at idle! I know this is true, because I have RS40's and RS38's on two of my Gsxr 1100's.... It never goes away... LMAO.

That’s odd. I’ve been able to get just about everything imaginable for three sets in the last couple of years from Partzilla. Granted, some of the parts are not cheap, but when all is added up still a lot less expensive than a set of RS’s (even used ones).

Kawasaki parts # 92005 and +92005-A , the fuel tee and fuel pipes that join the carbs - shows unavailable. even on partzilla.
However, I was recently lucky to find new aluminum ones on ebay. they were hard to find, but should be a permanent replacement for the stock carbs.
