TK-22 choke flaps for KZ550

I’m new here and wanted some input. Just tore into my carbs and all but one choke flaps are gone. I read that they get sucked into the motor and out of the exhaust so I guess that’s the good news but where can I find replacement flaps without buying the entire holder and flap? Those things are like $75 each. I don’t want to glue pieces as some suggest, does anyone know who or where I can buy just the choke flaps?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHowdy. First I checked the diagrams over at Partzilla, then searched the part number on eebbaayy.
There's a guy who fabricates & sells ss replacements. see EB link.
Also, loudhvx here on KZR has a bunch of info about the KZ550 & TK carbs on his motorcycle stuff page. see links in his signature.

KZ550-A1 >> carburetor parts >> 16126-1024 VALVE ASSY,CHOKE

...set of 4 choke flaps by likeylots >> $30 plus shipping

Awesome!! Looks legit and these stainless steel replacements look like they will last a lifetime without breaking off. Way cheaper than the alternative too.

This must be new because eBay was the first place I checked. Thanks a lot for your help.

I’ll let you know how they turn out once they come in.

Those look to have the same incomplete hinge-curl as the originals.

Does your TK carb page have info that would help to improve those? It seems like the EB flaps would be a good starting point.

The choke flaps fit perfect. They’re stainless steel so I’m not sure if “incomplete hinge curl” really matters or not.

I didn’t even have to remove the carbs to put the new ones on so I’m super stoked! Thanks for your help guys!!
