So tonight I got my 36 mikuni flatslides on and starts hard then got it running on idle. If I chop the throttle while warming up it dies then when it warms up I can slowly apply throttle and it rev off choke. On choke I can rev it and it's fine. But then I looked down after it ran for a few minutes and the exhaust was glowing orange WTF. So it seems obvious that I am lean but is there something else I need to worry about. Its a 1982 Kz1100 GPz. I took the fuel injection off. Is there something I need to change like timing or anything? I wouldnt think so but I have no idea what to do at this point besides up my jetting.
