Anyone have a picture of the float tang on a TK22 carb adjusted (bent) to the correct level and can show the pic and the correct measurement?

loudhvx has a plethora of TK22 information on his motorcycle stuff page. see links in his signature.
Setting the floats wet by adjusting the fuel level is more accurate that the dry method of measuring the float height.

The amount of float tang bend one way or the other to achieve a different fuel level is likely imperceptible to the human eye in most cases.
Would forget trying to obtain some physical dry measurement of float height.
Just use and rely on the clear tube tests to achieve the correct fuel levels.
The correct float height is whatever tang adjustment results in the correct fuel level.
Carbs care about fuel level. Carbs don't really care about float height so long as the float height produces the correct fuel level.
Good Fortune!

Like JMKZHI said, dry float level adjustment only get you near the ballpark. Clear-tube method as described in the manual is how you make the final setting.
The tongue usually has to be set differently if you replace the fuel valves. The original TK22 valves are slightly different from most aftermarket replacements.
Here's a page on how to do it dry along with measurements for a totally OEM fuel valve:
