I was wondering if the fuel mixture screws could be set using a dampened vacuum gauge with each carb done individually. Each one would be set to the highest vacuum reading. I don't hear well anymore and have difficulty with the changes in sound of the engine. Please advise and thank you!

I am not so sure about using a vacuum gauge, but you can use a good quality tach/dwell meter with the tachometer set to one of its lower settings, like 0-2000. If possible. With the tachometer, you will be able to clearly see the changes. The factory tachometer is not really sensitive enough for this.

That's a great idea, I have an old tach/ dwell meter that may work. I'm not sure if it will be sensitive enough. I'll have to give it a try and see. Thanks for the advice!
