Hello just wanted to ask does any one know of the correct float hight for my kethin cv34 on a kawasaki z 750 e1 1980
any help would be a great help

Instead of adjusting the floats to a specification, it's usually better and more accurate to do the service fuel level check, then adjust the floats accordingly to get a proper fuel level in the carburetors. The 750Turbo.com site linked below has a good manual. Download the one listed as GPz750 Base Manual. It has a yellowish gold cover and color wiring diagrams. There's another one on the list that isn't as good and it's in black & white.

Humm, the english manual doesn't have that float height information. One thing to be aware of when measuring float height is the float needle springs weaken with time and don't always hold up the weight of the float, so your measurements can get off.

The manual from the Turbo site linked above has the same float height drawing and measurement in the 1982 supplement section on page 317, but it says the 18.6 mm spec is for Mikuni carburetors. Keihins are listed for the 1980 KZ750-E1.

Yeah, the L model and GPz's (R model) used Mikuni's, most other 750's used Keihin's.
