bs34cv Carb Valve seat/Valve Needle

HI All

I'm rebulding a gummed up set of bs34cv carbs and have bought a rebuild kit from z power in the uk, here
www.z-power.co.uk/carb-repair-kit-z1000jkr-z1100a

THe valve seat has a different type of gauze and the valve needle looks a different size. Now when inserted they seem to sit at the same height, but i have no way of measuring. Anyone used these? Do they look right?

Hard to say. If the seat compensates for the short needle it should be okay. If not, don't think it will work.

Original parts are always the best, clean all your original parts, and replace gaskets and O rings l
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

The wear on the needle is quite substantial, I can feel it with my nail so Im guessing thats going to be an issue itself?!?
