83 KZ550M1 reinstall choke rod ball? was created by jdvorchak
I un-ganged my carbs today and cleaned them up. I was careful to keep all of the choke rod components in order including the ball. Never did see the spring but it was working with positive detent stop at half and full. Now putting it back together I can't seem to figure out how to get that little ball back into #3 carb?

Never mind. I figured it out. You have to remove the diaphragm cover and diaphragm and there is a hole in there. Just drop the ball in there and push it down all the way. The rod then slides through.
