New carb's Mikuni's RS34 for a gpz1100 -- FYI

I ordered these RS carbs from Z1 Ent. and something I noticed that was odd is that the package said the were for GSXR750.
I tried fitting them and they do indeed fit. Now I'm in the stage of tuning using the jets that came with them. Manual said that carbs are preset for the bike they are sold for. Short story, trying to guess what the jetting should be and being at 6000' on a hot day, I started leaning out the mixture down to 110 from the original 125. ran like crap I was thinking there is something major going on here. Finally I put two and two together and figured it out. The jets are way too small for a big breather like the gpz1100. back to the 125, lifted the need, and fattened to fuel jets....and bingo she starting to really get there. still a little lean, but she really get's on it now. Honestly did not think this bike was going to be this quick...I mean it pulls hard. Feels like my Zrx1100. So lesson learned, check the box to make sure its for your bike.
