Yes, Patton - very easy. Those ones there are looooooong!
There is even this extreme, a pass-through 1/4. I have no problems with the normal ones though. On one side note, I have a KZ1000 with a nice supple Z1 one-piece airbox and can easily detach and move it out of the way, no hardened old air box boots. Life-changing upgrade, that was!

Seems to be a popular option, using the Z1 airbox (with its integrated hoses) to replace the later model box and separate hoses.
There' a post here on KZr by wired george (wgcarbs.com) where he says he does this without issue (with perhaps a slight lift block under the airbox).
