1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

Glad I've always been a straight line guy..... thinking I would a got myself into trouble by now if I would drive that crazy around the bends. Looks Designed pretty good if the petal scraps it might be time to back off.

Centrifugal force and klinky balls prevent me from leaning that far. :side:
But I'd like to try getting closer, if I had a safe way to detect the clearance while in-motion. Perhaps some curb-feeler type of thing is available just for that...

Wrap a piece of sheet metal about 30mm wide and ?? long around the peg so it hangs down enough that it touches just before anything else. You should be able to hear it scraping when it contacts the moving pavement.
