KZ400 CV carbs? Anyone ever use Mikuni VR round slides? Just to start and run??
What do you think 24mm - 26mm. I have a pile of old snow mobile and single cyl. dirt bike carbs.
Just want to start and run a 12,000 mile 1978 KZ400. No carbs! The carbs were tossed 15 years ago??
Bike has set since, inside with great compression and spark.

I might even have some early Lectrons from an H2 triple drag bike?

KZ440 carbs and boots will bolt right up.
28mm is about the biggest vm series carb you will need on a stock 400.
And change out the 2 stroke needle jet.

Hey Nebr_Rex, are you saying any KZ440 carbs will fit on a 78 KZ400B? the reason i'm asking is i'm having issues with my stock carbs, looks like the PO took a screwdriver to the valve seat in an attempt to pry it out. I can get a set off a 440 at a reasonable price and before I pull the trigger i'm trying to confirm they will fit my KZ400B.
