wow thanks man, i really appreciate it.. I would have just kept it in there if I knew it was such a difficult part to track down.. But i did research and find out that the #64 slotted jet on tks are also used on certain yamaha scooters and honda as well.. I guess cv carbs were used for a few more years with them, i havent found a 64 yet so your a lifesaver.. same size?! thats a nugget of info :) ill expand my search

Sorry ...I looked and they were in an old set of carbs that have gone now. This secondary main is unusual.

There's quite a few options you have with other CV 27 or 30 carbs. The later zr550 had kehin semi-flatslides but the spacing is different.

If you get stuck this guy knows jap carbs really well, he is quite helpful with advice too.

believe it or not ppl, but i found a jet from jetsrus that fits.. its a Keihin main jet that i matched up the dimensions and its a slotted head type jet but it has way better surface area to tighten the jet down.. I already have it back in the carb and will test it out once I get the darn carb back on. I also found a company on ebay that has the actual stock slotted jet and ordered as well.. if anyone needs the link just pm
