Swapped the carbs out this morning. The smaller spigot (40mm) fit into the stretched manifolds perfectly, and they synchronized nicely.
Low-end started out lean, so I changed the Pilot Air Jets to 0.7 (from 0.
. After that the decel-pops stopped, and the low-end responsiveness off the line took a major step forward. Top end doesn't feel quite as powerful as the 36's, but throughout the range it runs smoother, feels strong and drops back to steady idle much quicker.
The 34's are now set up same as the 36's, with exception of having one-step smaller main jets...
