Greetings,
trying to get an old gpz running again, pulled off the carbs[ thanks to riturbo and loudhvx] and saw that the plastic cap [ 11012A ] in carb #1 is gone!... does anyone know where to find one? do the K&L carb rebuild kits come with the caps?
Thanks guys

There are a couple of nos caps listed on eebbaayy. part number search = 11012-1244. $12T each.
The K&L carb kit (KL18-2461) at Z1Enterprises doesn't seem to have the plastic pilot cap.

ps: this is a part that could be a good candidate for 3D printing.

Good sleuthing martin! The parts fishe seems to be messed up regarding the part number for the plug, but you seem to have found it. 3D printing would work assuming the material is not affected by gasoline, or cut one on a lathe. I've seen metal replica pilot plugs for Keihin carbs before but nothing for these carbs.

The part & full part number were easy to find, no special searching required. The cap is shown in the diagram drawing at Partzilla & the full part number is available as well by clicking the part name in the list. Or if you sign in, the full part numbers are automatically listed.

3D printing. I'm pretty sure some of the plastic carburetor caps are polyester which is one of the plastics used in 3D printing. From the chemical compatibility charts I've seen, nylon should be a good choice.

I've seen various genuine oem parts that Kawasaki lists as polyester in the diagrams & on the package.
Here's an example: Z750FX genuine pilot Jet Cap new and out of print 11012-1128 (CAP,POLYESTER)
