VM29 intake boots was created by sparkybr74mr
I recently aquired a 76 KZ900 with a 78 KZ1000 engine that has VM29 carbs on it, I need to replace the intake boots. Are the intake boots the same as the stock kz intake boots or special order for the carbs.

These are whats needed to put em on the KZ650 too...... the bolt holes just need to be slightly slotted with a dremel or I carefully used a round file...... the ports matched up too which surprised me as I thought the big bikes ports was going to be larger ..... I even took a little sandpaper and opened them up ever so slightly to get em as even as possible..... bought em used way back in 83 so yah they've been shot for a while and I just had to buy new ones too
