Hello again.I'm Oljo from Alabamy.Did kind of an intro in the Engine Forum.My bike is a 1980 750 ltd twin.Actually the vin says 1979.It was titled as a 1980.Can anyone tell me if there's an I d # written on my carbs somewhere?If I have to measure bore,I.m assuming the engine side. The inside or outside?Thanks in advance for any reply.

engine side -- Yes
The inside or outside? -- Inside
Might measure slightly larger than sized.
For example, 26mm Mikuni measures slightly more than 26mm.

I believe you will find it actually is a 1980 since Kawasaki did not make a 1979 KZ750-LTD twin. This is good to know when ordering parts. Just like cars, bikes are identified by MODEL year, not the year they are actually built. As an example, if your KZ750-G1 was built in October 1979 it is a 1980 model. Ed

Thanks again guys for the answers.I know they are mikuni made in japan and that's it. Next time I pull em I'll record jet sizes too.
