It is the first time I find a complete full rebuild kit for Keihin CV34 carbs of kz750.
The price is awesome!

Where?

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I'm curious as well. I've rebuilt several sets of those carbs and it's not an easy process. You have to pull the choke butterfly shafts out of the carbs to be able to ungang them and perform a proper dip job to clean the passages. A kit including the float bowl O-rings, float needles, and O-rings for the interconnect tubes, pilot screws, and pilot plugs would be awesome. Sadly, most rebuild kits I've seen provide needless, and often inferior parts, such as jets. I'm much rather just clean the original Keihin parts where ever possible and not replace them.

I don't know man. So again, I'd rather reuse the real Keihin brass parts.

A couple of the parts I don't recognize either: what is the part just below the float needle, and the long part the float needle is sort of pointing at?

The kit is missing the fuel transfer tube O-rings too. Those are the ones that are typically the most degraded too.

The part below the float needle is the NEEDLE JET, it works together with you JET NEEDLE.
The float needle is pointing to the MAIN NOZZLE, wich works under the PRIMARY MAIN JET #62.

I'm a little embarrassed. On the sets I've done I didn't remove the MAIN NOZZLE or the NEEDLE JET. I soaked the carb bodies in carb dip with those parts still installed. Do they slide in and out of the carb body easily?

The MAIN NOZZLE is held at place by the PRIMARY MAIN JET,
The same with the NEEDLE JET. It is held at place by the NEEDLE JET HOLDER,

PRIMARY MAIN JET and NEEDLE JET HOLDER both are threaded.
MAIN NOZZLE and NEEDLE JET are threadless. The slide through the aluminum holes.

I can't comment on the quality of these carb kits but for anyone interested, cruzin image is a Japanese company, here's a link to them directly, they have plenty of other parts including piston kits... ;)
