KZ440 Carburetor Leaking Gas from Main Jet
25 Jul 2016 13:25
Hi All,
My KZ440 has been missing on the right cylinder and fouling the plug on that side, so I was observing the carburetors while it was running and noticed that the right carb had gas bubbling out around the main jet at anything above idle. After a second or two of this, the right cylinder would miss badly and spit back through the carb. The float levels are within spec and the carbs have been cleaned multiple times. Does anyone know what the likely causes of this are?

All the best, Jeff

Make sure the bowl vent isn't clogged, I'd take another look at the fuel level and needle seat.
