Big problem!
I pass all my day to clean carburetors, and finally when i test my kz she have fuel leaking from the 2 holes of the oem air box.
I think it's the floats that doesn't close anymore... What do you think?

Please help :)

Yes. The fuel petcock is probably leaking as well.

Have you checked the fuel level in the carbs using the clear tube method?

From the KZR file base
www.kzrider.com/jdownloads/General/Gener...clear_tube_combo.jpg

Depending on which carbs you have, you may also have cracked overflow tubes.

You really should get a genuine Kawasaki Factory Service Manual for your specific model and year.

I think i have learn in a wrong tutorial for me.

The kz1000 ltp 78 b2 should have a vm28 carb isn't it?

I place my floats to 22mm and not 16mm ... www.mikuni.com/pdf/vmmanual.pdf

I'm going to work on it now. Would be back in 1 hour with my carbs to make modifications.

Any help or tutorial will be really appreciade when i will back on my computer :)

Clear tube test ids the only way to get them right. Don't bend the tangs on too much angle.

The float measurement will get them close, but the clear tube method is the only way to get them perfect. If they were set at 22 rather than 16, then the fuel level should too low and not the cause of the overflow.

Any ideas on what can cause the overflow?

If you have a vacuum petcock the diaphragm is possibly torn allowing more gas to flow into the carbs (and out). To check, disconnect and remove the air hose from the petcock and smell/inspect it for traces of gasoline.

Check your float bowls first using the clear tube test (as mentioned)
Check all fuel lines for leaks

I don't understand what is leaking inside your airbox???
