GPZ 1100 Tps was created by pjluckai
Once again i post with a,call for help. I have an 82 GPZ 1100 that s been sitting for who knows how long. in efforts to restore her to former glory I've done the following:
- ultrasonic clean and test injectors
- TPS adjustment
- Replace cracked pressured fuel lines
- spark plugs
- air filter, oil change, filter, etc
However, when dialing in the tps, i can't seem to find the sweet spot. no matter which way i adjust it, i get a lurching or sputtering upon acceleration. this wasn't the case prior to the above work, but have no idea why any of the above would cause it. i took a look at the plugs after about 20 kms and they are black.... not sure what to troubleshoot next. is this just a matter of tps adjustment & more patience?
... adjustable fuel pressure regulator, pod filters, ignition coils & wires in the mail.... will start a build thread once i get started swapping gsxr components!

Everything was fine before, so I just assumed it was fine. What is the easiest way to check it?
Also, any idea what this other business is beside the check valve?

To update, I only notice the sputtering once the bike is good and warm. This tells me its running too rich?...
Does anyone have any insight?
Thanks

.... Anyone? removed check valve, and seems fine.
I've installed new coils, wires and plug caps to no avail.... Vacuum sync is next n the list. Can anyone think f anything else?
