1987 ZX750 carbs on 79 KZ650?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI was wondering if these Keihin CV34 carbs had the same spacing as the stock vm24ss carbs, on the KZ650? I can get the boots and the carbs for a good deal and I think they would be a nice upgrade. Just wanted to ask around and see if anyone else knows for sure...

If you are considering switching to CV carbs on a KZ650 the link below is "must" reading on the subject. Pablo replaced his Mikuni VM carbs with Keihin CVK carbs and gives a VERY detailed account of the project including tons of pics. When done he was thrilled with the results. Ed

You can use as direct swap:

Keihin CV34 from KZ750
Mikuni BS34 from GPZ750
Keihin CV32 from ZR750 and ZR7S (needs new carb boots and airbox mod)

I think there are better carb options than those CKV's. The Keihin's from the KZ750 are a direct bolt on, and you can even fit the proper airbox too.

And $175.00 is WAY to much for those.
