Well, that about does it. ;)

:) Synched and runs great. Will have to get used to the throttle, but she's smooth, and the beloved clacking noise is barely noticeable. Perhaps the air box balances the pulses to some degree.

That's a nice bike, it's also the only other KZ1100A other than mine I've seen with chrome engine covers.

Chrome is nice.
Its the cure for Polish elbow.

I found a trick for enhanced viewing photos: Right-click on an image, and a big list of options pops up...
Left-click VIEW IMAGE, then ZOOM for an incredible ride.

Necessity is the mudder of invention... B)
Introducing the clear-tube method for those hot, nearly-impossible Pilot Screw adjustments. Its easier now...yes!

I've been doing that for years but they fall off eventually when hot or loose their grip when hot and the air or mixture screw doesn't turn reliably.

Glad to hear, and it sure does simplify the process. I tried with a screwdriver bit, and found out how clumsy I am in certain situations. A 1/16" nail through the hose fits in the screw slot for a better grip.

Hmmm .. Good idea. Never thought about a piece of metal in the plastic tube. Gonna try that ASAP!
