If I get a bowl and replace the pump bowl, couldn't they just be capped or does that sitting gas in there cause a problem? There is the jet that gas pumps through, but that could be cover with a piece of gasket. R

Yeah that's even more simple, but I bet the gas in there would varnish up. It might be the last time you could use em even without permanent changes. Anyway this a level 2 mod and I am still in the basement. I'll settle for running at this point.. R

LOL i hear ya on that.
I went through a little aggravation with mine but I opted for making the pump/srays work.
so far mine are working well but i haven't let it sit to long .
if you make a stand to hold you carbs on the bench and hook up an auxiliary tank then you can set float levels and see if the sprays are working.
