I have a 77 KZ650b that is stock. I just picked up another set of sidecovers, tail and a tank. The tank has a vacume petcock. Is it possible to use a sync outlet tube for the vacume. I think the original set-up uses the EV system on the newer bikes but not sure. Might have to replace petcock but not unless I have to. This one seems ok if I can get a vacume to it.

I would ask where I could put the canister when riding but I think the answer could get us all banned! Besides all we would get is Ross Perot asking where that big sucking sound was coming from! Given enough tube and an in at NASA I might have figured where to get vacume from!

Gotcha all fixed up.... Just watch it when I drop the pipe - wouldn't want it to catch the corner of that *Yankee Garage* of yours...

All set! I had Lil KIM the puppet doink from North Korea launch my Vac system on one of those Wishihadabigdong rockets of his... Don't get too close to the intake PT!....PT!...PT!! In space there is no sound but if there was you would now be hearing a sound like a basketball being sucked through a garden hose! Pthwoitk!

The vacuum port on your 650 on the intake manifold will work fine EXCEPT that you might want to turn the one you use UP... The reason is that gas tends to condense down and lay in the manifold and expecially pool in the vacuum port. You will suck MORE gas in if this port is down and the gas will soon eat your vacuum diaphragm in the petcock... I know that newer 650 manifold sets only contain the one side anyway, so if you have the newer set or even an older set (with all down), flip the one over and point it upwards. You might have a hard time sync-ing your carbs with the one up and if so, you can just flip it down when you sync but flip it back up to feed vacuum to the petcock.
