Carb screws

So I scored a kz700 for free for my first bike. Friend said it sat for about 2 years but before that ran great. I went ahead and started taking apart the carbs to clean them. The screws for the top and bowls were just old and worn and now they're stripped. Trying to source screws or allen head bolts for the tops and bowls of my carbs now. Any advice on where to look or sizes or anything. Thanks in advance.

You can get SS Allens at your hardware store or HD.

First of all buy at least a #2 JIS screwdriver. Stop stripping the heads out of these old bikes screws. with Phillips screwdrivers.
Don't fix it until it's broken.

Like jd said, despite how they look, Kawasaki did not use Phillips head screws. Those are JIS and you will have far fewer problems using a screwdriver that fits properly. You can buy them cheaply enough fom Z1Enterprise, or you ca fire up you grinder and modify a Phillps to fit.
If you want to change to Allen head fasteners, Z1E or any decent hardware store should be able to fix you up with the proper size metric fasteners.

I like the Z1 Enterprises screws since they contain a captive lock washer.
