I have 01 KZ1000J parts bike 103 HP 34mm diaphragm type carbs
www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/kawasaki...saki_z1000j%2081.htm
Does it make sense to install carbs from 81 KZ1000J on my 80 KZ1000E shaft 28mm?
It is only possible if intake manifolds from J are good or can be repaired.

Simple answer = NO.
Not just for the sake of it.
Keep the slide carbs on if there's nothing wrong with them.
